We are excited to announce the addition of three major updates to Audigo today with the 5.5 release on iOS. This first new app release of the year happens to be coming out during music and movie awards season, and given the new capabilities and features we've added to both the free Audigo Studio app and Studio+ plan, we couldn't help but make this an awards-themed post. Read on to see what's new!
Lights, Camera, Action.
It's too late to be eligible for the Oscars, but with Apple Cinematic Mode now available to everyone with a supporting iOS device on iOS 26, you'll be tempted to make every social media post an epic worthy of a nomination. On the video recording screen, just tap "Standard" near the top to switch to Cinematic Mode for more depth in your videos.
Quiet on the Set!
Standard or High noise reduction settings are now part of a new Utilities menu in the 5.5 Studio app. These can be applied to individual tracks to reduce static noise like hum and hiss without altering the character of a recording. Noise reduction can be helpful, but please continue to optimize mic placement and use the Soundcheck feature so your sound is dialed in before you hit record.
Cue the Diva.
The Studio+ plan gets some love as well with a new vocal compression option. This effect has been designed specifically for vocals and integrates compression, de-esser and exciter audio processing into a single slider control. Use vocal compression to enhance clarity, presence and polish to voice recordings.
