Balanced Sound at the Tap of a Button

Audigo is streamlining the production process for creators, making it easy to turn out high quality recordings without the hassle of complicated technical equipment. We’ll always be expanding what you can do with Audigo and today we are excited to unveil a new EQ feature that will help you dial-in the sound characteristics of audio and video recordings in a very straightforward way.

EQ refers to equalization and is the process of adjusting the volumes of individual frequencies in an audio signal. EQ can be useful for many reasons and is used to balance or enhance sounds in a recording. Audio engineers use their knowledge of the frequency spectrum (the various ranges of human hearing) to adjust when a sound is too thin, too harsh, muddy, etc. This adjustment is made by increasing or decreasing the volume of certain individual frequencies in a sound.

We are all relatively familiar with EQ through the audio settings in cars stereos, TV’s, etc. In those devices’ settings menus you’ll usually find tools to adjust the treble and bass. Treble controls the high frequencies while the bass controls the low frequencies.

In the Audigo EQ, you simply select one of four “one-tap” presets or you can customize settings for Bass, Warmth, Clarity, Presence and Shimmer. EQ will help bring out the best in your recordings, whether for single track videos or multitrack projects where different EQ settings can be applied to each track individually.

As always, we look forward to hearing your feedback on this new feature. Please email us at info@audigolabs.com
