How to Multi-Mic

How to Multi-Mic

With our latest software update, Audigo can now support recording with up to four of our wireless smart microphones at the same time, all connected to the same iPhone. Sounds awesome, so how do I do it? Here’s some tips:

Automatic Clip Correction makes clipping a thing of the past

Other backup track approaches with manual post-processing steps have been done before, but with Audigo, our software dynamically determines which parts of each signal to save in the final recording - WHILE you are recording. If clipping occurs, the lower gain signal will be utilized for just that section - down to as little as 10 milliseconds.

Compression

With the new v2.6.0 Audigo app, you can now easily add compression to pump up your sound, just like with stereo, reverb and EQ.

Audio compression is a technique used to refine the dynamic range of an audio signal, which is the difference between the softest and loudest sections.

For many musicians, the only thing better than making music is doing it with other people. Music production is often a collaborative experience, whether it's an artist working with a producer or a band getting together to come up with new tunes. Simple concepts have the potential to really grow and develop when creativity is being fueled by an exchange of ideas. But maybe most importantly, collaborating is just fun.

Audigo is streamlining the production process for creators, making it easy to turn out high quality recordings without the hassle of complicated technical equipment. Helping to Keep You on Time

Helping to Keep You on Time

Human perception is incredibly sensitive to disjointed rhythms, so for musicians, timing is everything. And they’ve been using metronomes for a couple hundred years to keep themselves in sync. Now metronomes have become a truly essential tool for artists working independently on recording projects, allowing them to lock-in to the same tempo when different parts are being captured across different sessions. So of course our customers have been asking for a metronome to be added to Audigo and we are happy to say that we've been listening. One of the most requested features is now part of the Audigo app.
